- An online platform that helps people + businesses connect, find over-lapping needs and then combine their efforts, budgets and resources to get their needs done/met faster - and for less.How do Members get their needs done or met?
- Crowd Kode uses technology to create known, new and/or unique technology-related solutions to help Members address their “needs”. We do this by creating new tech that helps Members bring their ideas to life, grow existing Startups or Businesses or just improve a passion or interest-based project.How does Crowd Kode choose which Members get chosen or helped?
- We don’t! You do! And, other Members too, of course.Crowd Kode is community-driven and based around our revolutionary Voting-Engine, which we refer to as the CrowdKode CrowdΞngine.
Members can basically post, suggest or recommend new technology, solutions, tools, Startups, Businesses, etc. that they’d like to see made (or backed/funded) - and then other Members can vote those things up on the CrowdΞngine page.
And, Crowd Kode will then make or back the most voted-up things.
How does it work when something is the most-voted up?
- CrowdKode will either:1. Create new technology (if it’s a technology related submission)* or,
2. Create new technology for an Idea, Startup or Business that helps it grow or leverage technology in some kind of way.
* And, give all Members access to that new technology or only the Poster - or only the Poster and the Members who voted it up (depending on the settings you chose).
What kinds of code-based technologies does Crowd Kode create?
- Crowd Kode creates various code-based technologies, such as (but not limited to) websites, scripts, APIs, templates, SDKs (software development kits), Online SaaS-based (ie. Cloud-based) Platforms + Services, etc.We are primarily full-stack LAMP (Linux+Apache+MySQL+PHP) Developers, but we also specialize in UI/UX and Product Engineering, which means if we don’t do it, we’ll hire (and over-see) a Developer who specializes in that area to do it.
How do I actually get the technology?
- If it’s tech that was voted-up from the CrowdΞngine, then once it’s completed it will be published to its own Solutions page.Or, if it’s already an existing Solution, then you can simply go to the Details Overview page of that particular Solution and Request it or RSVP for it. That does one of 2 things -
a) It either instantly reveals a download link or button - or emails you one.
b) It instantly adds you to the Install Waiting List, which we will be posting as a public feature soon.
So,it just depends on which kind of “solution”, feature or script it is. If it’s a script, then typically it’s code based and will be downloadable to you in the form of a zip folder.
But, for the websites and mobile apps, those are usually installs that require setup - for which we have a queue.
Either way, each Details Overview page will let you know what you have to do and what we need from you to get you access to your tech or get it installed for you!
How much does it cost?
- It’s free to join Crowd Kode and get access to quite a variety of How To Tutorials, Videos and free Technology and Solutions, but we will soon introduce CrowdKode+ Memberships, which allow more premium access + support to all of our Technology Library. Stay tuned.In addition, every Members gets 100 free Votes when you sign up - and can pay about $1 per 100 additional votes on the Load page.
